Energy recovery
Recovery of scrap raw material from the various processes and the associated sources of energy that derive from the processing cycles, are another sector in which Carpenteria Manzanese is involved.
As the company is located in an area that is mainly concentrated around the wood-working industry, it has designed systems to recover, store and treat scrap raw material that can be extracted and refined, thanks to suitable equipment and machinery, and used as fuel in boilers. The boilers are equipped with devices to treat dusts and fumes and are an environment friendly source of energy.
The use of dry air-air exchangers on the filtering equipment makes it possible
to recover most of the heat that would otherwise be directly issued into
the atmosphere guaranteeing compensation of the air into the environments
from where has been extracted, in compliance with current laws.
These solutions have received considerable approval in terms of reliability
of the entire system, resulting in a valuable source of energy saving.
